48 Hours in London
I had the pleasure of spending 48 hours in London earlier this week. It’s always good to get back into town, even if only briefly. Having lived here for 15 years, it feels like putting on an old glove. With the dollar now significantly stronger against the pound (25% stronger no less), it’s a glove that once again fits well.
London offers endless photographic opportunities. Like every place I go back to since taking up photography, I can’t believe all the things I haven’t captured.
If you’re in London to shop for camera gear, there are some interesting prices to be found. Nikon D700s go for £1570 on the high street and as little as £1450 in duty free (Dixons). If you’re converting currencies, that’s currently cheaper than B&H in New York.
