Mammoth Hot Springs

A late summer storm had just passed overhead making for a stark contrast between the sunlit upper terraces of Mammoth Hot Springs and the looming sky above.
Unlike the resorts of Colorado, these aren’t the sort of hot springs you’d be advised to go bathing in – water temperatures are near boiling and the pH won’t do anything good for your complexion.
