North Clear Creek Falls

North Clear Creek Falls

July 2009

North Clear Creek Falls is one of the largest falls in Colorado and while located in a fairly remote area of the state, is easily accessed from the main road running between Lake City and Creede.

The grazing cattle work well to give scale to the falls. They were also accommodating enough to remain still to make an exposure long enough to capture the motion of the water thundering over the edge.
